Hello, world! I’m Britt Coombs 🔊 and I’m a growth marketer who values evidence, empathy and process. I began my career as a copyeditor and pivoted to demand generation at Oracle. Since then, I’ve earned certifications, led global teams and grown to love the innovation of Silicon Alley.

I’ve built go-to-market campaigns for enterprise merchants, technical end-users and corporate decision-makers across many markets and verticals. Professionally, I’m very interested in audience research, media anthropology and design principles (especially with relation to accessibility).


My CV

A copyeditor-turned-growth strategist, I’ve got a good eye and a gut feel for everything from brand strategy to marketing operations. I hold certifications in inbound, analytics and automation from Google, HubSpot and Mailchimp, and have ideated and built some highly visible programs that converted wonderers into buyers, and buyers into loyalists.


My Life

Outside work I still love to write—I used to run a sports blog that was picked up by my hometown newspaper, and recently my essay about life at Dartmouth was published by Routledge. I also serve as an Admissions Ambassador for Dartmouth—meeting with local high school students to answer their questions and help the college learn more about the human behind each application.

I am based in New York but as an avid Citi Bike member and Bike Angel (not to be confused with the topic of the book I’m currently reading), often I am far from my Brooklyn brownstone.
